This is seriously the easiest and most delicious custard square I have had! It is a crowd pleaser and sure to shock everyone. From my experience, they will be begging for the recipe! My family in-law request this dessert for every family gathering!
I am not an overly big fan of the jelly like texture of ordinary custard squares but I am a HUGE fan of Denheath custard squares. This recipe is like a perfect cross between the 2 of them. You will love it!
Try it! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
1 packet of malt biscuits
1 cup of milk
1 packet vanilla instant pudding
1) Line a 20 x 20 tin with 1/2 packet of biscuits (keep biscuits hole).
2) Beat together the cream, milk & instant pudding until thick.
3) Spread over malt biscuits then put rest of biscuits on top (hole biscuits).
4) Put in fridge to set.
5) Ice with plain icing (put vanilla essence in it).
**Tip** I usually make this the day/night before it is required as it gives plenty of time for the malt biscuits to soften.
